SHARI N. MINTZ, MD, FACE is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Mintz continued at Mount Sinai for a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
Dr. Mintz has been in private practice for over 20 years. She practices general endocrinology with a special interest in thyroid dysfunction, thyroid nodule and thyroid cancer management, diabetes, parathyroid disease, osteoporosis and obesity management. She is certified to perform thyroid ultrasounds and ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsies and does these regularly in her practice. She also has extensive experience with interpretation of continuous glucose monitoring reports, insulin pump management and the use of GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP therapies in diabetes and obesity.
