SHARI N. MINTZ, MD, FACE is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Mintz continued at Mount Sinai for a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

Dr. Mintz practices general endocrinology, with a special interest in thyroid disorders, diabetes and pituitary diseases. She is certified to perform thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle biopsies, and does these regularly in her practice. She is also involved in clinical trials regarding diabetes treatments and is an active community speaker on endocrine health issues.
